Coming into this program I thought that starting a business and being an entrepreneur was something that you can learn through textbooks and reading articles online. Although some of that may be true, I realized that being an entrepreneur and starting a business takes much more than that. It takes real live experiences, careful planning, research, and hard work to truly become an entrepreneur and run a business. In this class I’ve learned some of the best lessons of being an entrepreneur by hearing about the successes and experiences of other people. I’ve learned that being an entrepreneur puts yourself always at the edge of innovation; always on the lookout for new and innovative things that will (taking a page out of Professors Liebowtiz book) “Connecting the dots.” Lastly, one of the most important things I’ve learned from this class is that not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur.
